Key Responsibilities
đ Cybersecurity Operations
Continuously track, evaluate, and respond to emerging security threats and incidents.
Administer and optimize firewalls, endpoint security tools, and IDS/IPS platforms.
Perform regular vulnerability assessments, interpret findings, and apply remediation actions.
Develop, implement, and uphold security standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST).
Assist with compliance initiatives, including audit preparation and GDPR-related requirements.
Oversee user access governance, identity lifecycle management, and privileged account controls.
đ Network Infrastructure Management
Support and troubleshoot corporate network environments including LAN/WAN, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and segmented networks.
Configure and maintain core network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls from vendors such as Cisco or Fortinet).
Monitor and enhance network stability, availability, and performance through proactive oversight.
Participate in the planning and execution of network improvements and architectural evolutions.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on practice in cybersecurity and network administration.
Strong familiarity with firewalls, endpoint defense, SIEM solutions, and IDS/IPS technologies.
Solid networking skills including VLANs, routing/switching, and VPN configuration.
Certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP, CCNA Security, or Fortinet NSE are advantageous.
Comfort working in Microsoft and Linux environments; exposure to Azure or AWS is beneficial.
Analytical mindset, strong troubleshooting ability, and a proactive attitude.
